Dunrite offers either a TRANSBUDDY Kit shown above or a complete Valve Body with
kit, above right. This Kit provides: a pressure boost slope that matches diesel engine torque,
correctly timed shifts, adjustable detent and max throttle shifts, corrected control
of converter charge and cooler flow, increased Torque Converter clutch capacity (especially
during hard pull).
BrakeSaver feature for PowerPullers: Enables Manual Lockup clutch engagement
in ALL forward gears at ANY throttle position including coast/decel. When used with
exhaust brake, furnishes downhill grade retard to enable safe curve handling and
prevent high speed down-hill runaway in mountain driving with heavy payloads. Dramatically
reduces truck and trailer brake burnout.
Our valve body and Kit was the first on the market with these features. Since
then, many others
have copied our original ideas and design. Companies are either unethical,
lack the engineering expertise to originate their own innovations, or both.
